Privacy Policy.
Privacy Protocols.
This policy describes what the GG Co. store at getgg.co collects, why, and what rights the customer has. The data controller is Greatest Game LLC, a Missouri limited liability company doing business as GG Co. (“the Company”), reachable at support@getgg.co.
§ 1 — What the store collects.
- At checkout. Name, email address, shipping address, and order contents, collected by the payment processor, Stripe, when an order is placed. Card numbers go to Stripe only; the Company never sees or stores them.
- The order record. The store keeps its own record of each order: what was bought, what was charged, the order's status, and the identifiers that tie it to the payment and to the production partner's copy of the order. It does not keep its own copy of the shipping address — that lives with the payment processor and the production partner.
- An account, if the customer opens one. An email address and the payment processor's customer reference. There is no password, no profile, and no saved address book. A pledge (see the terms) adds a record of what was pledged and a reference to the payment method saved with Stripe — never the card itself.
- Correspondence. Whatever a customer sends to support@getgg.co.
§ 2 — What it is used for.
Fulfilling orders and pledges, sending the messages they require (sign-in links, order confirmation, dispatch and delivery issues, pledge outcomes, a request to update a declined payment method), handling returns and claims, recognising an active membership at checkout, and meeting tax and accounting obligations. Nothing else. The store sends no marketing email.
§ 3 — Who receives it.
- Stripe, the payment processor — processes payment, holds the transaction record and any saved payment method, and calculates sales tax.
- Production and fulfillment partners — receive the name, shipping address, and order contents of made-to-order goods, solely to produce and ship them.
- The hosting provider — hosts the store and carries its traffic.
- The email delivery provider — delivers the store's email (sign-in links and order messages), and so receives the recipient's email address and the message.
- Shipping carriers — receive what a label requires.
- The Greatest Game membership service (greatestgame.co, run by the Company) — asked whether a signed-in customer holds an active membership, by the payment processor's customer reference only.
The Company does not sell, rent, or trade customer information, and shares it with no one else except where the law compels it.
§ 4 — Cookies and analytics.
The store runs no analytics and sets no tracking or advertising cookies. A customer who signs in to an account receives two cookies that keep them signed in — strictly necessary, unreadable by scripts, and removed at sign-out. A guest receives none from the store. The checkout, run by Stripe, sets the cookies Stripe requires for payment security.
§ 5 — Retention.
Order, pledge, and transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, then disposed of. Sign-in links expire unused within minutes and are single-use. Correspondence is kept as long as the matter it concerns stays open. Nothing is kept for its own sake.
§ 6 — The customer's rights.
- Deleting an account is done by the customer, from the account page, at any time. It anonymises the account, unlinks it from its orders, and cancels any pledge not yet charged. Each order itself is kept, with the address given at checkout: it is the record a refund, a fault, or the Company's tax return rests on.
- Anything else — asking what the store holds, asking for a copy, or asking for deletion as a guest — is done by writing to support@getgg.co from the address used at checkout. The Company answers within 30 days.
One honest limit: order and transaction records that the law requires the Company to retain (§ 5) are retained even after a deletion request, and the request is honored for everything else. Records held by the payment processor and the production partner are held under their own policies; on request the Company will ask them to delete what they are free to delete.
§ 7 — Children.
The store sells to adults. No one under 13 should submit information to it; if such information surfaces, it is deleted.
§ 8 — Changes.
Revisions are published on this page with their date. A material change in what is collected or shared is stated plainly at the top of the revised page.
§ 9 — Correspondence.
